Error on Windows 64 bit for Access database

description

Hello,

When I try to connect to an Access 2003 database through Mini SQL Query, I get the following error:

System.InvalidOperationException: The 'Microsoft.Jet.OLEDB.4.0' provider is not registered on the local machine.

This happens because the application was not specially compiled for 32 bit (which is the work-around to use Access Databases on 64 bit Windows). To apply this, you can choose in Visual Studio to compile for the target environment X86. This can be set in Visual Studio -> Project -> Properties -> Compile -> Advanced Compile Options -> Target CPU and set it to x86

Regards
